1. 主要内容概述。
本课是义务教育课程标准实验教科书新目标英语七年级下册unit 5，（将用四课时授完）
单元目标 1．知识目标：
1)核心词汇及短语：
clean, read, watch, sure, toy, activity, shop, camera, bird, sound, show, boring, do homework, eat dinner, talk to sb., talk on
the phone, in the first / next photo, at the pool / mall / library, wait for, thank for
2)功能：谈论正在发生的事情和正在进行的动作。
3)语言结构：

4)句型：
what are you doing?

he’s doing his homework.

she’s reading.

he’s swimming at the pool.
what’s he waiting for?
he’s waiting for the bus.

2．语言技能：
1)听：能够听懂并顺利完成本单元学习活动中的听力任务。
2)说：能够准确熟练地朗读本单元句型、对话和段落；能够在任务型活动中使用本单元所学的语言知识进行简单的交流，如：**交流、描述**，展示相册等。
3)读：能够完成本单元的阅读任务和理解与目标语相关的阅读材料。
4)写：能够准确书写本单元的重点词汇和句子，能够运用目标语言在句子和篇章层次上描述不同场景下正在发生的事情。
3．情感目标：
1)通过任务型活动，使学生学会交流，学会尊重，提高人际交往能力。
2)通过运用目标语（现在进行时）对一些场景进行描述，懂得珍惜时光。
2. 学情分析。
1．学生是初中学一年级的学生；
2．学生思维活跃，善于和同学交流，乐于表达自己，渴望得到同学和教师的赞许；
3．学生对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣，但是英语的听读能力还有待加强；
4．学生已经学习了特殊疑问句的提问和回答句型；
5. 现在进行时作为全新的目标语言在教材中首次出现，学生对此比较陌生。
3、资源准备。
学生在多**教室、普通教室进行学习；
使用义务教育课程标准实验教科书新目标英语七年级下册教材；
本单元采用电脑、投影、录音机等多**辅助设备。
第一课时 教学内容】
本课时完成教材section a的内容。侧重本单元目标语的基础学习和操练，使学生能够针对在家庭场景下正在进行或发生的动作用英语进行简单的交流。
学情分析】学生对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣，但是英语的听读能力还有待加强；
学生已经学习了特殊疑问句的提问和回答句型；
现在进行时作为全新的目标语言在教材中首次出现，学生对此比较陌生。
教学目标】．知识与技能。
（1）认读五个新单词和两个新句型，做到发音准确、清晰；
2）熟练运用新句型与同桌进行相互问答；
3）能够借助key points进行看图问答或综合说话；
4）能够根据多**课件和油印材料自主听读英语短文材料。
．过程与方法。
1）能够通过师生说、两两说和自主听读体验交际式英语教学的一般过程，掌握英语说听的基本方法；
2）能够通过两两说和综合说体验合作学习的过程和方法；
3）能够仔细倾听老师和同学的发言，有语言表达和与同学交流的愿望。
3．情感态度与价值观。
1）激发和保持学生英语学习的动机，实现“趣能”两得；
2）在学生两两交流和小组合作交流中，培养孩子合作意识和合作精神，能够相互配合完成一段通顺流畅的说话训练。
资源准备】教科书、制作好的ppt课件。
教学过程】step i：

1. “after learning the text and the grammar by yourselves, please ask and answer in pairs or groups .
show the structures:

what are they doing? they are ……
2. let’s do some listening work now. ”play the tape ,ask student to finish the listening work, then check the answers)
3. sum up the usage about present progressive tense.(show the small blackboard, help the students to sum up)

do several actions like reading a book, playing basketball,dancing, etc. “can you act ? let’s play the game in groups.
