unit1 单元教学目标。
一、语言技能目标。
第一层次：1. 能够听懂、会说restaurant, post office, bank, grocery, crossroads等表示场所和地理位置的词汇，以及across from, next to, between等表示方位的词汇和turn left, turn right, go straight等表示行进方向的词汇；能够根据语境恰当使用，并能借助拼读规律认读和识记生词。
2. 能够听懂、会说用来问路和指路的功能句：how can i get to …?
go straight and turn left at the first crossroads. it’s between …能够在情境中初步口头运用这些功能句。
3. 能够读懂有关路线描述的文段，从中提取关键信息，并写出问路与指路的句子。
4. 能够比较流利地朗读文段。
5. 能够借助熟悉的已学单词感知字母组合ai和ay的发音规律，借助**理解生词的词义，并利用该规律拼读生词，进而基本能做到“听词能写，见词能读”。
第二层次：1. 能够借助**读懂街区中常见公共场所的介绍，并模仿范例进行小制作。
2. 能够学唱与本单元话题相关的歌曲。
3. 能够借助**和其他阅读策略读懂story time的故事，完成故事后的画路线图的活动，并能有感情地朗读故事。
其他目标。1. 能够积极参与课堂上的各种活动或游戏，并能与同伴合作完成活动或游戏。
2. 能够在活动中认真倾听同伴发言，并大胆表达自己的观点。
3. 能够对街区的主要场所的功能有所了解，拓展生活常识。
4. 能够提高看地图、寻找路线的方位感和形象思维能力。

主题】my neighbourhood
课时】第1课时：lesson1
一、本课教学目标。
1. 能够听懂、会说restaurant, post office, bank, grocery, crossroads等表示场所和地理位置的词汇，以及across from, next to, between, crossroads等表示方位的词汇和turn left, turn right go straight等表示行进方向的词汇，并尝试借助拼读规律记忆这些词汇。
2. 能够询问并描述某个场所在什么位置。
3. 能够根据语境，选择本课所学词汇将句子补充完整，并且做到书写规范。
二、教学建议。
look, listen and repeat.
1. 热身活动。
1) 教师可以带领学生演唱二年级上册第四单元in the community的歌曲，复习以前学过的有关场所的词汇，为接下来的学习做准备。
歌词如下：bill is in the bookshop.
lily is at the zoo.
joy is in the supermarket.
andy is at school.
binbin is in the park.
but yaoyao is in the hospital.
教师可以在唱歌前让学生做“头脑风暴”的活动，有意识地引导他们回忆曾经学过的有关场所的名词，如：dining room和library。
2) 还可以引导学生观察主情境图的左图，让学生说出更多的场所名词然后板书在黑板上。
2. 正式进行a项学习。
1) 呈现a项主题图，师生根据主题图进行简单交流和描述，如：
t: look, this is yaoyao’s neighbourhood. what places are there in her neighbourhood?
ss: there is a bookshop, a hospital ..
t: oh, yes. there is a bookshop and a hospital.
and the restaurant is between the bookshop and the hospital. across from the restaurant is a supermarket ..
2) 听前活动。教师可以借助a项的图，通过与学生的问答，引导学生对听的内容进行猜测，如：
t: look at the picture. what can you see in the picture?
s1: i can see a school.
s2: i can see a hospital.
s6: i can see yaoyao’s home.
t: oh, yes. yaoyao’s home is in the picture.
today, yaoyao’s aunt comes to visit her family. let’s listen to their dialogue. what are they mainly talking about?
you can make notes while listening.
3) **录音材料，学生在情景中整体感知新语言。
教师提出问题，学生做回答。
t: what is yaoyao showing her aunt?
s1: she is showing her a post office.
t: what else?
s2: her school.
s3: a restaurant.
s4: her home.
t: is yaoyao showing her aunt her home?
ss: no, she isn’t.
t: so yaoyao is showing her aunt around the neighbourhood.
将单词neighbourhood板书在黑板上，下面留出空间，为下一步板书做好准备。
4) 再次**录音材料，请学生关注yaoyao和她的姨妈都谈论了社区中的哪些地方，引出新词汇的学习。
教师提出问题和要求：what’s in the neighbourhood? listen again and circle the places you hear in the tape on the picture.
5) 学生带着问题再次听录音，并圈出听到的场所名词。
6) 核对答案。教师先让学生同桌间互相核对答案，并将听到的场所名词在图中相应位置上圈出来。然后全班核对答案。
7) 学习表示地点的新词汇。**新词汇的原声录音，学生尝试跟读新词汇。
新词汇学习。
restaurant：源自法语，发音与拼写有些难度，教学重点可放在这两方面。近义词dining room可做联想、以旧带新的教学用途：
post office这是个合成名词，建议作为词块整体教学，辅助记忆；对学习程度好的学生，可将post和office分别讲解、教学。
