表示动作频率的副词（频率由小到大）
never --hardly ever( seldom ) sometimes --often --usually --always
(从来没有) （几乎不，极少有时） （经常）（通常） （总是，一直）
这些词用于助动词、be 动词之后， 行为动词之前。

3. how long (时间持续)多长，（某物）多长。
---how long did you sleep last night ? for eight hours .
---how long is the stick (木棒about 10 meters .
how soon (从现在起还要) 多久。
how soon will he be backin a week .
how often (某个动作 )隔多久一次
how often do you go to the cinema ? once a month .
how far (某地多远)
how far is the store from hereabout 500 meters .
how much 多少 （问不可数名词的数量）； 问价钱。
how much meat do you wanttwo kilos .
how much does the pen cost10 yuan .
how many 多少 （ 问可数名词的数量 ）

how old 多少岁 （问年龄）
how old is mr zhanghe is 39 (years old )
4. as for 至于… ，关于… ;
as for english , i like it very much .
we all came , but as for him , he didn’t come .
5． be good for 对…… 有好处。
vegetables and fruit are good for health .
be bad for 对…… 有坏处。
reading in the sun is bad for eyes .
be good to sb. 对某人好
she is very good to us .
be bad to 对某人不好。
the boss is bad to his workers .
be good at sth. =do well in sth 擅长于某事， 在某方面好。
she is good at english .=she does well in english .
he is better at english than lucy .
= he does better in english than lucy .
liu yu is the best at math in his class .
== liu yu does best in math in his class .
be good at doing sth. =do well in doing sth. 擅长于做某事。
they are good at playing basketball .
= they do well in playing basketball .
be good with sb. =get along \ on well with sb.和某人友好相处。

6．come home from school \ work 放学 \ 下班回家。
7. look after ==take care of ==care for 照顾， 照看。
he looks after \ takes care of \ cares for his grandfather every day .
8. keep in good health ==keep healthy 保持健康。
be in good health 身体健康。
9. sometimes , some times , sometime , some time 的区别。
（1） sometimes 有时候，偶尔 （一般现在时或一般过去时）
it is sometimes hot and sometimes cool here .
he was sometimes late for school .
(2) some times 几次， 几倍。
i h**e been to beijing some times .
this classroom is some times as big as that one .
(3) sometime 某时
he came here sometime in may .
(4 ) some time 一段时间
he will stay there for some time .
i stayed in beijing for some time last year .
10. every day 与 everyday 的区别。
1）every day , 每天 ”，时间状语， 表示动作发生的频率。
2）everyday “日常的”， 形容词作定语。
i do sports every day .
he speaks everyday english every day .
11. exercise (1) 不可数名词，“运动， 锻炼”
a lot of exercise is good for your health .
you need to do more exercise to keep healthy .
(2) 可数名词，“练习，（具体的）操 ”
we do morning exercises every day .
eye exercises are important to students .
students always h**e a lot of exercises to do .
(3) 动词，“运动， 锻炼”
how often do you exercise ?
my father exercises every day .
12. try to do sth 尽力做某事。
i try to answer the question .
try doing sth. 试着做某事。
he is trying swimming across the river .
try out 试验，尝试。
