1． everything ，everybody=everyone ，anything，nothing，something，等不定代词修饰其它词时不定代词后置。当不定代词主语时以单数形式。
2． few 几乎没有（表否定）a few有几个，有一些（表肯定）[这两个词修饰可数名词]
3． little几乎没有（表否定） a little 有点儿，（表肯定）[这两个词修饰不可数名词]
4． in five years 五年后tom will be back in two days.汤姆两天后回来。（in+时间段，表将来，）
5． tom started on saturday and arrived in beijing after two days .汤姆周六动身，两天后到达北京。(after+时间段，表过去) i’ll be free after friday.
我周五后有空。（after +时间点，表将来）
6． can能，能够(表能力，后跟动词原形，只有现在和过去could 两种形式)be able to 后面也跟动词原形，但可用于各种时态。

10. 可能，也许大概maybe adv.(一般在句首或者句中的情态动词，be动词后，行为动词前) may be由情态动词may加be动词构成，后面可跟名词、形容词等，不再跟动词。
11. borrow…from“从……借进”反义词是 lend…to…“把……借给……”
12. expensive贵的（相当于dear）反义词是 inexpensive 不贵的（相当于cheap便宜的）
13. in style“时尚的”out of style“过时的”comfortable舒适的 uncomfortable不舒适的like v. “喜欢”反义词是dislike“不喜欢”like “像”反义词是unlike“不像。

3. when 和while when 当……的时候，后跟短暂性动词 while 当……的时候，后跟延续性动词 mother was cooking while father was washing the car.

6. happen 和take place happen （偶然）发生 sth. happens to sb. take place （经过策划、安排等）必然发生。

1.直接引语变间接引语。
the teacher said to us , the earth goes around the sun .”
= the teacher told us (that) the earth goes around the sun.
he said to me , are you from china?”
= he asked me if/whether i was from china.
“what are you doing?” he asked me.
= he asked me what i was doing.
2. h**e a surprise party 举办一个惊奇的聚会 be mad at…= be angry with… 生……的气 not … anymore = no more 不再；再也不first of all = at first = first 首先；第一 pass on 传递（继续往下传）pass sb. sth.
=pass sth. to sb.把东西递给某人 work on 忙于；从事 be supposed to 被期望；被要求做某事；应该=should be good at doing sth.
=do well in doing sth. 擅长于做某事。
3. be in good health = be healthy 身体健康 get nervous 变得紧张h**e a hard time with sth./doing sth.
做某事遇到困难luckily 幸运地for now 到目前为止send one’s love to 向某人问好get over 克服；恢复；原谅。
4. sound like 听起来 agree with sb. 同意某人的意见open up one’s eyes 开阔某人的眼界 look after = take care of = care for 照顾；照看in danger 处于危险之中。

1. if you …，you’ll ….如果你……，你就会……。
if 引导条件状语从句，用一般现在时。you’ll … 结果主句，一般将来时。
if 也可引导宾语从句，表示“是否”，谓语动词可用各种时态。
i don’t know if it will rain tomorrow, if it rains, i’ll stay at home.
我不知道明天是否会下雨，如果下雨，我将呆在家里。
i’m not sure if he will come tomorrow, if he comes, i’ll call you.
我不确定他明天是否会来， 如果他来了，我会跟你打**。
let sb. in 让某人进入 half the class 一半的学生 take away 拿走；取走。
