与that的区别：在句中都可以指代人或物，但二者分工明确，互补混淆。a.
指距离说话人较近的人或物时用this，指距离说话人较远的人或物时用that.如：this is a pencil.
这是一支铅笔。that is a ruler.那是一把尺子。
b.介绍放在一起的两样东西时，this在前that跟在后。如：
this is a book,that is a pen.这是一本书，那是一支钢笔。 is无缩写形式，that is可缩写成that’s.
d.指示代词作主语并用在问句时，回答一般用it来代替。2.一般疑问句。
回答是可以用完整的句子回答，但大多数情况只需做简略回答，用yes或no来回答。如：is this your pencil?
