一、第一类是观点型作文(arguments)
考察我们的观点及对社会上的一些事情的看法和改进的措施等。
·2023年1月campus tourism (即大学校园成为旅游景点的看法和观点)
·2006 6月， on students selecting lectures，问学生对自己选择任课教师这一问题的辩证性的看法。
12月 (spring festival gala) 是否继续的社会热点问题，可见四级考试更加重视我们自己的perspective即观点，而且一般都是辩证性的观点，考生要格外的注意这一趋势。
1. 答案统一的，即不辩证的。
开头提出观点+第二段论证+总结。
2. 辩证的。
开头按背景+观点提出有些人的观点；第二段用however或者是yet提出另一部分人的观点；最后一段用personally提出自己的观点及解决方法，最后总结。
(一) 选用开头方法：
·方法一：重述作者的观点，其实就是复述题目加完美的改写。
nowadays, there has been a heated debate about/that……
some of my fellow students hold the opinion that……
然后引出自己的观点：
肯定 ： from my perspective(我认为……)
i am inclined to support the idea that……(我趋向于同意……)
否定：personally, however, i disagree upon this view for some obvious reasons:( 但是，我不同意是由于以下几个明显的原因。
)方法二(hot)：背景开头+自己的立场。
in contemporary society, there is a growing tendency over the recent years for sb(人) to do sth.(干什么)
最近对……有一个增长的趋势。
this issue/phenomenon has caused wide public concern. from my part, i am inclined to support the idea that……
二) 第二段的main part：
相比不加任何序号写一堆理由，用序号要明智的多，所以当然可以用first, second, third……(但是不要多于四点)。辩证的可以用on one hand……on the other hand……或者for one thing……for the other thing……还有注意使用连词：and 可以换成besides, moreover, furthermore ,what’s more等；递进but 换成however, instead, on the contrary，yet……so 换成 therefore, as a result, thus……
另外要会使用一些连词和句子：personally(就我个人而言)，undoubtedly(毫无疑问的)，obviously(显而易见的)，unfortunately(不幸的是)，nevertheless(不过)，while(有时又轻微的对比，但是)，anyway(无论如何，切话题)，in addition(再者)，definitely(很确定的)。
however, people seem to fail to take into account the fact that….
人们似乎忽视了……的事实。
there is no denying the fact that……
no one can deny the fact that……
it is indisputable(不容置疑的) that……
上面的句子都是用于表达你的观点和理由的，套用即可。
(三) 总结部分。
consequently, due to analysis and reasons mentioned above, we may safely arrive at the conclusion that……(综合上面的理由和分析，我们能得出结论……)
taking into account the above factors, we can draw a conclusion that……
(考虑到上面提到的因素，我们能得出……)
四) 同时要学会用for example或者是for instance举例子论证。
常用句型。1.表示原因。
1)there are three reasons for this.
2)the reasons for this are as follows.
3)the reason for this is obvious.
4)the reason for this is that...
5)we h**e good reason to believe that...
2.表示好处。
1)it has the following advantages.
2)it does us a lot of good.
3)it benefits us quite a lot.
4)it is beneficial to us.
5)it is of great benefit to us.
3.表示坏处。
1)it has more disadvantages than advantages.
2)it does us much harm.
3)it is harmful to us.
4.表示重要、必要、困难、方便、可能。
1)it is important(necessary，difficult，convenient， possible)for do sth.
2)we think it necessary to do sth.
3)it plays an important role in our life.
5.表示措施。
1)we should take some effective measures.
2)we should try our best to overcome(conquer)the difficulties.
3)we should do our utmost in doing sth.
6.表变化。
1)some changes h**e taken place in the past five years.
2)the computer has brought about many changes in education
7.表示事实、现状。
1)we cannot ignore the fact that...f
2)no one can deny the fact that...
3)however，that’s not the case.
8.表示比较。
1)compared with a，b...
2)i prefer to read rather than watch tv.
3)there is a striking contrast between them.
9.表示数量。
1)it has increased(decreased)from...to...
2)the population in this city has now increased (decreased)to 800，000.
3)the output of july in this factory increased by 15% compared with that of january.
10.表示看法。
1)people h**e(take，adopt，assume)different attitudes towards sth.

11.表示结论。

12.套语。
