五、导学过程。
1、 过去进行时。
1)用法:过去进行时态表示的是过去某个时间(点时间或段时间)正在进行或发生的动作。
what was she doing at nine o’clock yesterday?
昨天晚上九点她在做什么?(介词短语表示点时间)
when i saw him, he was cleaning his room.
当我看见他的时候他正在打扫房间。(when从句表示点时间)
it was raining when they left the station.
他们离开车站的时候天正在下雨。(when从句表示点时间)
when i got to the top of the mountain, the sun was shining.
当我到达山顶的时候,阳光灿烂。(when从句表示点时间)
we were watching tv from seven to nine last night.
昨天晚上七点到九点的时候我们在看电视。(介词短语表示段时间)
what was he researching all day last sunday?
上周日他一整天都在研究什么?(段时间)
my brother fell down while he was riding his bicycle and hurt himself. (while从句表示段时间)
我哥哥骑自行车的时候从车上摔下来,受伤了。
he was cleaning his car while i was cooking.
他擦车时我在做饭。(两个动作同时进行)
2)谓语结构:be(was/were)+现在分词。
3)常用的时间状语:at this time yesterday, at that time,at nine o'clock yesterday, this morning, the whole morning, all day yesterday, from nine to ten last evening, when, while引导的时间状语从句。
4)句式: they were playing football at six yesterday.
否定句。一般疑问句。
肯定和否定回答。
划线部分提问。
2、when和while的区别。
1)when,while都有“当……时候”的意思。when既可表示某一点时间,也可以表示某一段时间 。在when引导的时间状语从句中,其谓语动词可以是延续性的,也可以是非延续性的。
例如:i was just reading a book when she came into my room.
她走进我房间时,我正在看书。
were you writing when the teacher came in?
老师进来的时候,你在写信吗?
when he was a child, he was always trying out new ideas.
他小时候就常常试验一些新的设想。
2)while在……过程中,只能表示某一段时间,不能表示某一点时间。在while引导的时间状语从句中,其谓语动词只能是延续性的。例如:
while jim was mending his bike, lin tao came to see him.
正当吉姆修自行车时,林涛来看他。
3)另外,when和while的区别还在于:while引导的时间状语从句多用过去进行时态,而when引导的时间状语从句多用一般过去时态。 例如:
while they were talking , the bell rang.
正在他们谈话的时候,上课铃响了。
i was doing my homework when my mother came back home yesterday evening. 昨天晚上妈妈回家的时候,我正在做家庭作业。
4、when/while都可做并列连词.前者等于and at that time,(就在这时,突然),后者表对比,可译为“而”
i was going downstairs when the telephone rang.

另外,as一边……一边……,表示两个动作同时进行。he sang as he walked.)
3. in front of 与in the front of
in front of 在……前面(范围外)
in/at the front of 在……前面(范围内)
eg : there is a big tree the classroom.
4. follow sb. to do sth. 跟着某人去做某事。
译:请跟我读。
5. surprise=amaze v. the news surprised/amazed me.
surprised=amazed adj. 主语是人,只作表语。
i am surprised/amazed at what he said.
i am surprised/amazed to hear what he said.
surprising=amazing adj.既可作表语又可作定语。
the news is really surprising /amazing. (表语)
i am surprised to hear the surprising /amazing news. (定语)
surprise n. in surprise 惊奇地 to one’s surprise使某人惊奇的是……
