unit 9 how was your weekend?

一、学习目标:

掌握本单元重要单词和短语:1)practice练习;实践,stay停留;留下,test考试;测试,mountain山;山脉,geography地理学,change改变;变化,middle中等的,spend度过,week星期,周,anything任何事,无论何事,cat猫,2)do one’s homework, play soccer/tennis/the piano/the guita, clean room, go to a place (the beach/the movies/the library), h**e a party, practice english, do some reading等。

学会使用一般过去式:主语+动词的过去式+其他+表示过去的时间状语。

二、学习重点:

1)使用一般过去式句型询问和回答:what did you do last week?和how was your weekend?

2)spend和practice的用法;

3)使用句型it is time to…该是…的时候了。

三、学习难点:规则动词的过去式和不规则动词的过去式记忆:is/am-was,are-were,do-did,go-went,h**e/has-had,spend-spent,write-wrote,sing-song,sit-at.

步骤一:检查单词及词组掌握情况:课前检测练习

步骤二:结合本单元重要句型复习知识点:

1. what did you do last weekend,lucy?露西,你上周末做了些什么?

what did…do+过去时间”是实义动词一般过去时的疑问句,did是助动词。

what did your sister do yesterday?

she visited my uncle.

一般过去式的一般疑问句:did your sister visit her uncle?--yes,she did./no,she didn’t.

2. what about your friend,carol?carol,你的朋友怎么样呢?

what about…=how about…意为“….怎么样?”,后+名词/动名词,常用于询问消息,提供意见或征询建议。

what/how about this film?—it’s interesting.

what/how about playing soccer?—good idea.

3. how was your weekend?--it was great./it was ok./it was very good.

4. i study for the science/math test.我为科学/数学测验而学习。

study for..for 为介词,后接名词,we study for our country.

5. how did kids spend the weekend?孩子们是怎么样度过这个周末的?

spend“度过”,he spent all his life in the same town.

spend“花费”,1) 人+spend+时间或金钱+(in)doing sth “某人花费多少的时间或金钱做某事”,i spend two hours(in) doing my homework every day.

2) 人+spend+时间或金钱+on sth“某人是某事上花费了多少时间或金钱”,i spend 5 yuan on the book/2 hours on the library.

6. i practiced my guita.我练习吉他。

practice是及物动词,后接名词/动名词作宾语。

7. he sat down and watched wang wang play with a friendly black cat.他坐下看汪汪和一只友好的黑猫玩耍。

watch sb. do sth “看某人做某事”,i see she wear a red coat everyday.

watch sth“看某人正在做某事”,the teacher watch the students practicing guita.

类似的动词还有:

8. then it was time to go home.然后到回家的时间了。

it is/was time to do sth.“到做某事的时间了”

it is/was time for sb. to do sth.“到某人做某事的时间了”

步骤三:核心语法—一般过去时。

1. 一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,一般过去时的谓语动词要用过去式,常和表示过去的时间状语连用:yesterday,last week,last night, in 1988,two days ago,the day before yesterday.

i watched an english movie on tv last night.

his uncle arrived in beijing twos days ago.

2. 一般过去时也表示过去经常反**生的动作,常和often,always等表示频率的频度副词连用。

he always went to school by bus last term.

she often stayed at home on sundays last year.

3. 动词过去式的构成:

1) 规则动词的过去式的构成:

一般情况:直接加ed, look-looked, start-started

以e结尾的动词:直接加d, use-used, live-lived

末尾只有一个辅音字母的重读闭音节:双写最后一个辅音字母,再+ed, stop-stopped, plan-planned

以“辅音字母+y”结尾的动词:改y为i再加ed, worry-worried, study-studied

2) 不规则动词的过去式的构成,主要记忆:is/am-was,are-were,do-did,go-went,h**e/has-had,spend-spent,write-wrote,sing-song,sit-at.
