考研英语作文中，开头和结尾向来是阅卷老师关注的重点，一篇作文就好比一个故事，好的开头吸引大家读下去，因此，写出一个好的开头是很重要的。
我当时为了写好作文开头，专门买了本作文书，张国静的《写作160篇》，这本书是一本话题很全面的考研英语作文书，其连续11年命中作文原题，书中把各个话题的写作语料归类整理，很适合我这种基础不好的人积累。
尤其值得一说的是书中的创新写作手法，主要从书中的38篇真题范文中体现。其采用的是“三步作文法”，给出的是经典模板范文、思路创新范文和语言创新范文，大家可以先学习其经典范文思路，再学习思路突破和语言创新方面的写作手法。即使基础不好，也能逐步学会写作。
