1. 形容词比较级和最高级。
a．规则变化。
单音节词末加-er或-esttall-taller-tallest
单音节词末以-e结尾的直接加-r或-estnice-nicer-nicest
重读闭音节且词尾为单个辅音字母，须双写最后一个辅音字母再加-er或-est.

2. cm 是centimetre的缩写， kg是kilogram的缩写。

5. a kind of 为“一种”， many kinds of 为“许多种”，many different kinds of 为“许多不同种”。
