there be 句型是一个常用的句型,并且是一个倒装句,表示“某个地方有某人或某物”,句中的be 要根据后面的句子主语单复数的变化而变化。(就近原则)
eg: there is a book on the desk.
there are two books on the desk.
there is a book and two pens on the desk.
喜欢做某事 like/enjoy doing sth
让某人做某事 let sb do sth
使某人做某事 make sb do sth
……怎么样? what about doing sth ? how about doing sth ?
much too和too much 的使用。
too much 太多 eg: he drank too much beer last night.
much too 非常 eg: the problem is much too difficult for me to work out.
be good at sth / doing sth 擅长做某事
be good for 对…有帮助的。
be good to 对…好;和善。
it’s important for sb to do sth 对某人来说做某事是重要的。
remember to do sth 记得去做某事。
remember doing sth 记得做过某事。

有关情态动词would
如果邀请别人可以说:would you like to …?
如果同意,一般可以说:yes, i’d like to. /yes, i’d love to. /ok. /all right.
如果拒绝,也要说得客气些,可以先说sorry, 然后再说原因。
eg: -would you like to go to a football match on sunday?
-yes, i’d love to. /sorry, i h**e to stay at home.
*叫某人做某事 ask sb to do sth /ask sb not to do sth
eg: my mother asks me to eat an egg.
his mother asks him not to play on the road.
let’s 用于提出建议,也可表示邀请,后跟动词原形。let’s do sth
一般用good idea! /ok. /great! 回答。
eg: -let’s play basketball in the afternoon.

it’s difficult for sb to do sth 对某人来说做某事是困难的。

提问星期几,用what day, 提问日期用what’s the date?

sometimes有时候/some times几次;几倍/sometime某个时候/some time一段时间。
1) sometimes为副词,意思为“有时”,可用于句首、句中或句末,在句中作状语。
eg: sometimes he goes to the cinema on sunday.星期天他有时去看电影。
2) some times是词组,意思为“几次,几倍”,其中的times为可数名词的复数形式。
eg: he has been to beijing for some times before.他以前去过北京几次。
3) sometime指某个不明确的时间,意思为“某个时候”。例如:
eg: we’ll take our holiday sometime in august.我们将在八月的某个时候度假。
4) some time指某一段时间,其中的time为不可数名词,意思为“时间”。
eg: i spend some time practicing speaking english every day.我每天花一段时间练习说英语。

数词+thousand / hundred +名词的复数。
eg: there are three thousand students in the hall.
thousands / hundreds of +名词复数。
eg: they plant hundreds of trees on the hill every year.
a kilo of 一公斤。
a kilo of meat 一公斤肉 two kilos of eggs 两公斤鸡蛋
talk with sb about sth 和某人谈论某事。
eg: i’m talking with kate about the party.
告诉某人做某事 tell sb to do sth /tell sb not to do sth
eg: mum tells me to do the work. /mum tells me not to do the work.
帮助某人做某事 help sb with sth / help sb (to) do sth
eg: that man helps my teacher with her luggage.
that man helps my teacher carry her luggage.
another / others / the other / the others 的使用。
1) another 同类人或物中的“另一个”
eg: i don’t like the book, please show me another.
2) others “其他的人或事物”,是复数形式。
eg: please don’t tell the news to others.
3) the other 两个人或事物中的“另一个”
eg: i h**e two pens. one is black and the other is red.
4) the others 某个范围内剩余的人或事物。
eg: there are forty students in our class. twenty are boys and the others are girls.
