英语中的过去式表示过去某一时间发生的动作。
常用“人称+动词过去式+其他（如地点、时间等）”来表达。
一、动词过去式的动词我们已学过一部分：
大多数动词的过去式是在原来动词的后面加ed；
有的动词原来结尾的字母就是e，就在后面加d；
有的动词过去式和原形拼写一样，但读音不同或相同；
有的变化非常大，读音也发生变化。

1、过去式为“动词+ed”的归类：
原形过去式。
1) brushbrushed
tim brushed the dog this afternoon.
2) cleancleaned
my father cleaned the house today.
3) climbclimbed
*sam and damming climbed the great wall.
4) cookcooked
my grandma cooked noodles for me. and i helped her.
5) finishfinished
i finished the homework yesterday.
6) helphelped
i helped my grandma.
7) learnlearned
my sister learned math, but she didn’t learn english.
8) listenlistened
my mom listened to music this morning.
9) paintpainted
*my little sister painted a picture for me.
10) playplayed
i played the piano this morning.
i played with my friends.
11) washwashed
i washed my socks, but i didn’t wash the pants.
12) watchwatched
my grandpa and i watched tv together.
2、动词过去式为“动词+d”
因为动词原来结尾就是e，不用再次加ed）
原形过去式。
1) bakebaked
my mom baked a big cake for my grandma.
2) phonephoned
i phoned my aunt this morning.
3) practice practiced
i didn’t practice judo today. but i practiced the piano.
3、动词过去式与原形拼写一样
原形过去式。
1) cutcut （读音不变）
*i cut vegetables for my mum.
2) putput （读音不变）
*i put a present on my dad’s desk.
3) readread（读音变化，发音同red）
*i read a story book tonight.
4、动词过去式变化比较大，主要是词中有变化。
原形过去式。
1) arewere
*we watched a movie and we were happy.
2) buybought
*my dad bought some books yesterday.
3) comecame
my english friends came to china last week.
4) dodid
*i did my homework yesterday.
5) drink drank
i drank some hot chocolate after meal（饭后）.
6) eatate
my grandmother cooked noodles and i ate a lot.
7) fallfell
*i played on the ice and fell over.
8) gowent
*i went to the park with my father and mother.
9) h**e, has had
i had a picnic with my family yesterday.
10) is, am was
*i was happy yesterday and i am happy today.
11) makemade
i made a birthday card for my friend.
12) runran
the big monster ran away.

the bad man said, “i want some gold and you paint it!”

* we saw a kite in the sky yesterday.
15) singsang
my sister and i sang a song for grandparents. they were so happy.

*my sister wore a long dress in the party.

i won a gold cup in a math competition.

二、过去式的基本表达。
1、肯定句：人称+动词过去式+其他。
如：i played football this morning. 今天早晨我踢了足球。
2、否定句：人称+didn’t+动词原形+其他。
如：i didn’t play football this morning. 今天早晨我没有踢足球。
3、一般疑问句：--did+人称+动词原形+其他。
yes, 人称+did. /no, 人称+didn’t.
如：1) -did you play football yesterday? 昨天你踢足球了吗？
---yes, i did是的，我踢了。
2) -did tom break the toy? 汤姆弄坏玩具了吗？
---no, he didn’t不，他没有。
4、特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词+did+人称+动词原形+其他。
如：what did you eat你吃了什么？
what did you see in the park? 你在公园里看到了什么？
where did amy go yesterday? 埃米昨天去哪儿了？
还有一种：特殊疑问词+动词过去式+其他。
what happened发生了什么？
what happened to you你发生了什么事？
三、参考时间词汇：
yesterday 昨天。
the day before yesterday 前天。
this morning 今天早上。
this afternoon 今天下午。
this evening 今天傍晚。
tonight 今晚。
yesterday morning 昨天早上。
yesterday afternoon 昨天下午。
yesterday evening 昨天傍晚。
last night 昨晚。
