基本结构：there be +主语 + 地点 /时间状语。
含义：“在某地点、某时间存在或有……(注意：there是引导词，在句中不充当任何成分，翻译时也不必译出）

1、there be句型有数的变化。
原则：be的单复数取决于其后的主语，单数主语用___复数主语全部用___不可数主语用___简称原则）
看名词。1. there __some bread on the plate.
2. there __a doll in the toy box.
3. there___a lot of green trees in the park.
there 是个近视眼。
there___a desk and fifty-five chairs in the classroom.
there___fifty-five chairs and a desk in the classroom.
3、there be和h**e/has 的区别。
there be强调某地某物。
h**e /has强调某人某物。
there is a new bike, but i h**e no enough money to buy it.
4、there be句型的特殊疑问句。
1.对主语提问：
当主语是人的时候，用介词短语？”
there is a little girl in the room.→
当主语是物的时候，用介词短语？”
there are some bikes over there. →
注意：无论原句的主语是单数还是复数，对其提问时一般都用be的单数形式(回答时却要根据实际情况来决定) .
2.对地点状语提问。
对地点状语提问：
用 “where is \ are + 主语？”表示（注意其答语变化）
there is a computer in my office. →
it’s in my office.
there are four children in the classroom.→
they’re in the classroom.
3.对数量提问。
主语是___名词(无论是单数还是复数)
“how many +可数名词复数 + are there + 介词短语？
there are twelve months in a year. →

5、there be句型的时态。
☆根据时间状语变换be的时态：be可以有现在时（there is/are)、过去时将来时完成时。
还可用there must be ,there can’t be, there used to be（复合谓语）

there be结构有时可以不用be动词，而用 live, come, go, stand, lie, seem to be, happen to be 等动词。

there be后接不定式时常用主动形式表示被动意义。
如：there is a lot of work to do. 有许多工作要做。
注意：当该句型主语是something, anything, nothing等不定代词时，后面的不定式用主动形式或被动形式，意义各不同。
