如何在写作运用高级词汇、复杂结构和连接成分。
一、首先要学会使用高级词汇， 高级词汇并不是指超出高中阶段的四六级偏难词汇，而是指地道准确的英语。举例如下：
1.突然，我想出了一个注意。
suddenly i thought out a good idea. (一般)
a good idea occurred to me. (高级)
a good idea suddenly struck me. (高级)
2.结果这个计划失败了。
as a result the plan was a failure. (一般)
the plan turned out (to be) a failure. (高级)
3.你能很容易找到我家。
you can find my house easily. (一般)
you’ll h**e no trouble/difficulty finding my house. (高级)
4.我们每天有许多作业做。
we h**e a lot of homework to do every day. (一般)
we h**e endless homework to do every day. (高级)
5.非常感谢你的帮助。
thank you for your help very much. (一般)
i feel thankful\ grateful for your help. (高级)
i appreciate your help very much. (高级)
二。增强句子复杂性， 是指我们从英语最基本的简单句入手，明白五种简单句型的基本结构，再逐渐过渡到并列句、复合句，由浅入深。
用倒装句，改变句子的开头方式，使句子生动，句意突出。
we achieve our goal only in this way. (一般)
only in this way can we achieve our goal. (高级)
2) 在整篇文章中，避免只使用一两个句式，要灵活运用多种句式。
we had to stand there to catch the offender. (一般)
what we had to do was (to)stand there,trying to catch the offender. (高级)
with so many people communicating in english every day, it becomes more and more important to h**e a good knowledge of english.
3）灵活运用各种语法结构，使文章有声有色。
使用被动语态。
people suggest that the conference be put off.(一般)
it is suggested that the conference be put off. (高级)
使用不定式。
he is so kind that he can help me. (一般)
he is so kind to help me. (高级)
使用过去分词。
she walked out of the lab and many students followed her. (一般)
followed by many students, she walked out of the lab. (高级)
使用v-ing形式。
when he arrives, please give me an e-mail. (一般)
on arriving/his arrival, please give me an e-mail. (高级)
使用名词性从句。
it disappointed everybody that he didn‘t turn up. (一般)
the fact disappointed everybody that he didn’t turn up. (高级)
使用定语从句。
the girl is spoken highly of. her composition was well written. (一般)
the girl whose composition was well written is spoken highly of. (高级)
使用状语从句、
if you come back before six o‘clock, you can go out. (一般)
you can go out on condition that (provided that) you come back before six o’clock. (高级)
while连接的并列句。
不同年龄的人有不同的运动方式。中年人喜欢晚上在广场上跳舞，年轻喜欢夏天游泳，冬天滑冰。
people of different ages h**e various choices in sports. quite a few middle-aged prefer to dance together in squares in the evening, while the young people’s f**orite is to go swimming in summer and go skating in winter
when连接的并列句。
他正认真地看电视突然**铃响了。
he was watching tv attentively when the bell rang.
改变句子结构。
however, mr smith got a different answer .
mr smith, however, got a different answer .
三。学会过度与衔接， 使用了语句间的连接成分，使全文结构紧凑。
⑴ 句与句的衔接常用词汇：
递进型：what’s more, ，let alone, worse still, moreover…then(然后) besides, in addition（加之，除……之外）,furthermore(而且),
并列型： and, also， as well, as well as， or, too, not only…but also,both … and,
either … or, neither…nor
转折型：on the other hand, on the contrary, instead, otherwise, however, yet , nevertheless…
列举型：firstly…secondly…finally; on the one hand, on the other hand; for one thing, for another…
举例说明： for instance, for example, like, such as
见解型：in my oppinion, personally speaking, as far as i’m concerned…
解释型：that is (to say), in other words…
总结型：in a word, to sum up, in short…
强调型：certainly, indeed, above all, surely, most important, in fact, no doubt, without any doubt, truly, obviously
目的型：for this reason, for this purpose, so that, in order to, so as to
⑵ 段与段的衔接。再运用一些过渡句，衔接段与段，使篇章结构连贯完整．
开启话题型 it is often said that…, it is clear/obvious that…, many people often ask …
承接话题型 it is true that…, everybody knows that…,it can be easily proved that…,
the reason why …is that …,there is no doubt that…,what is more serious is that…
扩展话题型 i do not believe that…, that’s why i feel that…
总结话题型 thus, this is the reason why we must…
只要在平时的选择练习和阅读中有意地注意这些高级语法结构，并有意识地加以运用，日积月累，书面表达**现的高级语法结构就会丰富起来，文章也会紧凑流畅起来。
