作为一名教育工作者,我清楚自己肩负的责任,从教多年来,在不断提高自身知识水平的同时,我更加注重对教学的深入研究探索,大胆尝试,并把自己在实践中所得写出来,总结一些属于自己的东西。听力是语言发展的第一阶段,但事实上,听力却是外语学习中最薄弱的环节,实际考试中听力部分得分率也是最低的。因此,怎样提高学生的听力水平,从而提高听力部分的成绩,是教学中必须面对、不应逃避的严峻问题。

在实际教学中,我的首要举措之一就是:在同学们的实际水平相适应的大前提下,限制汉语的使用,用英语组织课堂教学,尽力为学生营造良好的近似于真实的语言环境,最大程度地给学生创造接触英语口语的机会,培养他们直接用英语进行思维的良好习惯,从而提高他们的听力水平,使得他们在英语的王国里尽情畅想、遨游。

万事开头难,英语本来就是学生倍感头痛的课程,更何况是用英语组织教学呢?这就要求我们教师必须有面对困难的勇气和战胜困难的信心,更要一锲而不舍、吃苦受累的精神,用我们的辛勤劳动学生的优秀成绩。凡事避免蛮干,必须讲究科学性,因此,在用英语组织教学的过程中,我恪守循序渐进的原则:

”启发引导,由易到难”。即最初给学生发放课堂教学用语的书面材料,并辅助以汉语的解释,待学生比较熟悉以后,完全脱离书面材料和汉语的辅助,独立理解教师发出的各种英语指令并做出相应的反应。

每当我们进行新授课时,总要有导入新课即导语这一环节。导语起到承前启后、点明主旨、提纲絜领的作用。精辟、恰当的导语一开始就可以吸引学生的注意力,激发学习兴趣,她甚至可以决定新授课的质量,因此,在用英语组织课堂教学的过程中,英语导语的设置是我下功夫最多、最为关注的环节。

导语即可以引出新的语法内容,又可概括新授课全文大意,又可针对课文内容提出几个关键问题。这样,一开始学生就对本课内容用了初步的比较清晰的了解,对问题的巧妙设置,可使学生有的放矢、深入细致地阅读课文。为了找出所提问题的相应答案,学生在聆听课文录音的时,更加全神贯注,同时对听力材料进行分析和理解,从而培养了他们直接用英语思维的良好习惯,长期坚持,学生的听力水平必将得到显著提高,现摘录本人设置的一则导语,内容如下:

(lesson 101 book 2, junior english for china)

now we can do many things . what could you do when you were four years olds ? do you know ?

listen to my answer . when i was four years old , i could run . i could walk .

i could speak too .what about you ? can you run /walk /speak , too?

(get the students to answer ).yes ,you can do it .because it’s very easy .

we know lily and lucy are twins .what could they do when they were four years old ? the new lesson will tell us the answer .

now let’s began to learn .

这段英语导语的设置,有三个作用。

1)首先概括全文的内容,即讲述双胞胎姐妹在四岁时能做和本能做哪些事情,文章内容学生可一目了然。

2)引导本课重要语法,即:can、 could 分别用来表达或过去的能力。

3)what could you do when you were four years old ? 该问题的设置是对文章内容的扩展、延伸,为学生提供了创造性思维的空间。

英语导语的设置有助于学生主动预习,因为为了能够听懂导语,学生会主动预习,甚至猜测老师将怎样设置导语。一堂课从一开始便可通过英语导语的设置,创造语境,使学生在一定程度上能够体会到英语教学的美感,激发他们的兴趣,使他们全神贯注、津津有味地学。

现将本人常用的课堂教学用语分类、列举、归纳如下,仅供参考、指正。

1.准备上课。

1.1 i hope you are all for your english lesson .i think we can start now .

1.2 stop talking and begin our lesson .

1.3 it’s time to start now .

1.4 let’s start our english lesson ,shall we?2.语言点讲解。

2.1 when you want someone to help you ,please say “could you help me , please ?”here , you can also say “can you help me , please?

” here , could and can are both right.

2.2 pay attention to the preposition “in” .

2.3 don’t forget the article “the” .

2.4 here ,ride is noun ,ride is also a verb ,too . for example , ride e bike .

2.5 look at this part .we can use an object clause instead of this part .

we can say the sentence like this :”she did what she could to help him .”

3.同义替换。

3.1 here ,clever means bright .

3.2 we can also say bright .

3.3 here, clever and bright h**e the same meaning .

3.4 clever is another way of saying bright .

3.5 we can use clever instead of the world “ bright.”

4.让学生回答问题。

4.1 answer it ,somebody ,please .

4.2 who can answer my questions ?

4.3 who can try ?

4.4 please put up your hands if you know .

4.5 can you answer it ?

4.6 who can tell me the answer ? lucy ,can you ?

5.订正练习。

5.1 what’s the answer to number?

5.2 you try no1 . right . the next one .

5.5 is this a mistake ?

5.6 are there any mistakes in the sentence ?

6.表演对话。

6.1 now let’s act out the dialogue .

6.2 you are mrs brown .

7.布置作业。

7.1 finish off all the exercises at home .

7.2 i want you to try exercise 1 .7.3 i want you to finish this off before monday .

7.4 learn the words and expressions by heart after class .

7.5 please prepare the next lesson.

7.6 do it carefully . don’t do it in a hurry .

7.7 don’t look at other’s answers .

7.8 hand in your homework on time .

8.鼓励与帮助。

8.1 don’t worry / be afraid .

9.为了进一步设置英语语境,提高学生的听说能力,教师应该教学生使用下列简单学生课堂用语。
