kim: you're here at last! you're late!
金：你终于来了！你迟到了！
ted: sorry. i was watching tv.
but don't worry. we'll get to the restaurant in good time.
泰德：抱歉，我在看电视。不过别担心，我们马上就可以到餐厅。
kim: i want to get there on time. or even ahead of time.
金：我想要准时到那里，甚至早点到。
ted: why are you always in a hurry?

kim: why do you always do things at your own pace? it's embarrassing to always be late.

kim: we've missed the bus. well, as usual, we're going to be late.

ted: are you blaming me?

kim: yes. i called you and told you to hurry up.

ted: sorry. i lost track of the time.

kim: you would lose track of your head if it wasn't on your shoulders. i've told you over and over, you h**e to watch the time.

ted: so i'm late once in a while...

kim: you h**en't tried this restaurant. they make the best steaks i've ever had.
but sometimes, they run out by eight.

ted: you didn't tell me that! let's hurry. we can take a cab.

ted: boy, i've eaten a ton of food. this was by far the best meal i've had in a long time.

ted: you ordered way too much. your eyes are bigger than your stomach.

ted: because your eyes are also bigger than my wallet.

kim: hey, this music's great.
get up. let's dance.

ted: no, no. i can barely sit up after that meal. and besides, i can't dance.

kim: come on, it's good to stretch out and get some exercise after a big meal.

kim: don't be chicken. i'll teach you how to dance.

ted: sit down! i'm not dancing.

kim: it's easy. look. you just raise your arms and turn like this...

ted: the only thing that's going to be turning is my stomach.

kim: well, it's getting late. we'd better call it a day soon.

ted: it's already late? it seems like we just got here. boy, time flies, huh?
泰德：已经很晚了吗？我们好像才刚到这儿。天啊，时间过得真快，不是吗？
kim: are you h**ing fun?

ted: yeah. so let's stick around. it's not like we're pressed for time.
金：是啊，我们再多待一会吧。反正我们不赶时间。
kim: if i listen to you, we'll be here all night.

ted: so what? so we'll be late for school tomorrow.
泰德：那又怎么样？大不了我们明天上学迟到。
kim: i don't like being late. besides, time is money, ted.

ted: what do you mean?

kim: well, you bought dinner, and i'm paying for the karaoke...and it's getting expensive.
it's high time we left.
