本规定用于设计图纸及**中，使达到缩写词的用法统一，同时解决图面空位不够及简化表示方法的作用。对于技术文件的文字部分如不易了解缩写词的含意时应避免采用缩写词，如必须采用时，除标有*号者外，应加注释。
本规定仅列入管道专业常用的缩写词，未包括流体缩写及常用计量单位符号。
