”那些学生都从手腕上拿下手表，开始拨表针；而这位教授在给中国学生讲到同样一个问题时，学生们就会套用数学公式来计算。评论说，由此可见，中国学生的数学知识都是从书本上搬到脑子中，不能灵活运用，很少想到在实际生活中学习、掌握数学知识。
