is a choice
in our daily lives, we h**e many choices to make, suchas what to eat for supper,what clothes to wear, or what more critical choices, such as which school to attend,what job to take or who to choose as husband or wife. yes,life is a matter of choice. seemimgly, it means a choice oftangible things.
but in essence, it means choosing a way oflife. life is to be lived, s**ored, and enjoyed, not to bewasted or complained about.
threat from the life-and-death disease--sars. yet,even during those dreadful times, some afflicted "smileandremain smiling." i was deeply touched by their optimisim,nearly forgetting that we're still in a battle.
peoplewho survive these kinds of circumstances, (at some
point)decide in their minds to carry on in spite of theoverwhelming odds.
laid-off workers, typically regarded as the victims ofeconomic advancement, are subject to desperation that beingunmeployed has brought on them. but, encouragingly, we h**ewitnessed some of them striving hard to rebuild values.
although we cannot choose our appearance, inborn giftsand even **oid unexpected disasters and adversities, we doh**e the privilege to choose to live optimistcally,to loveour lives, to h**e dreams, and to cherish hopes.
every morning when we get up, we h**e a choice of how wewant to approach life that day. as for me, i choose to becheerful.
日常生活中，我们会面临各种各样的选择，像是晚餐吃什么，穿什么或是如何度周末。而在人生中的特定阶段，我们需要做出更多关键性的抉择，例如教育，职业或者人生伴侣。生活就意味着一种选择。
这种选择看似是对具体事物的判断，但归根究底，是一种生活方式的选择。任何无味的抱怨和虚度光阴只会带来乏味，生活的美需要细心品尝，用心体会。
如今回想起那段笼罩在sars阴影下的日子依然心有余悸。但。
即便在那样令人沮丧的日子里，备受折磨的人们也始终保持着乐观。为传递一种欢快的情绪，大家换上了色彩缤纷的口罩。而那些富有创造力的人则把sars解释为"笑口常开"。
他们对待生活的乐观态度深深打动了我，几乎让我忘记我们还身处在没有硝烟的战场。其实，正是坚持不懈，坚忍不拔的精神引领人们走出了逆境。被看做经济发展牺牲品的广大下岗职工在面对生存压力时，特别容易陷入绝望当中。
但别人欣慰的是，我们看到越来越多的这个群体中的成员重建了对生活的信心，并重新立足于社会以实现自己的价值。
