8.2,美国发明家,**的发明人。贝尔从事研究的范围极广,曾获18种专利,还和其他人一起获得12种专利,其中14种为**、电报,4种为光**机,1种为留声机,5种为航空飞行器,4种为水上飞机,还有2种为硒光电池。

然而,这些专利只代表贝尔发明才能的一部分,因为他的工作重点在基本原理方面。他丰富的创造性思想,在当时不可能样样都成为现实,他的许多观念到后世才见到成果。

发明**的故事是非常戏剧性的。

现在再来讲亚历山大-格莱厄姆-贝尔的故事,看看它是怎么发明**的。2023年6月2日,他正在波士顿实验同时在一条线上送出几个电文的想法,他用的是一组弹簧钢片。当他在房间里用他的收报机工作时,他的助手托马斯-奥森正在另一间房间里发报。

奥森拨弄了一下钢片使它振动起来,发出了“当”的一声。突然贝尔冲了进来,冲着奥森喊道:“什么也别动,你干什么呢?

让我看看。”他发现,钢片在磁铁上的振动,引起了强弱变化的电流,电流流过电线,使贝尔房间里的簧片也振动起来,并产生了“当”的一声。

第二天,第一台**机就做出来了,从这第一条**线传来的嗓音是可以辨认的,声音从楼顶向下传了两个楼梯段。第二年3月10日,听到了第一句话:“奥森先生,这儿来,我需要你。”
